Cefixime comes in a drug class known as an antibiotic it helps in stopping the formation of bacterial protective that covers the essential which is the reasons of bacteria survival. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that decreases resistance and increases the activity of Cefixime against bacteria. Cefixime is also prescribed for the treatment of soft tissue infection, lower and upper respiratory tract infections, and other infections.

Precautions

Cefixime and Potassium Clavulanate Tablets must be taken after having a meal and along with plenty of water to protect from side effects. Do not skip any of the doses and complete the prescribed course. Take proper consultancy from the doctor before taking this medicine.
